loping like wind

Indiscriminate race of life

years lost

with no concrete results

frame has lost the picture, finally

haiku: ghost

ghost changed its place time to time
in childhood it was in dark
youth age in loneliness
with maturity life values changed
now mostly in mirror

i wanted you to share on a long drive
your old childhood memories with me
you handed over a pen drive saying - here it is

haiku: Id ego and superego

last day there was a fight among the three of us
me, my shadow and my reflection in the mirror
i told the other two - let us wait till dark...

haiku: Mother India

dot at midnight she shook me by shoulders and asked
why even at 67 do i fear walking alone on the road
why the country's thinking has not gone broad
why knowledge of 67 years has not turned into wisdom
why we still look at others to learn while knowing every solution
why not wake up now and wash up every dirt forever!
what do i say with my heart and mind shaken...

10 haiku: why elders poke their nose so deep in kids affairs

mom or dad, who is better?
nonsense people teaching senseless comparison to a child
better to focus on your own vacuum

what will you become when you grow up?
you better look carefully in the mirror of self realization
i am already grown up and on my long drive

why are you doing it? you are a kid
ok, i am but you are not
let me make my own universe in a drop of water

why did you get so less marks in exam?
i feel i am ok you are ok
you feel you are ok i am not ok

why do you talk to that boy who is so poor?
friends asked
poor, he is not, you are, who are begging

Why did you play on road, fell and got wounded?
it is better to learn about the hardest path
taste of bitterness sooner the better

don't you feel ashamed?
for not running as fast as others in a race
no, i would have if i didn't put all my efforts

will you fly your kite again after failing every time?
yes i will
till i touch the sky and shut every mouth

do you think your teacher is good?
i am not a judge
i am a kid, a learner, a student

do you know counting, poem, tables, addition?
yes i do but you better behave maturely
come, let us play chess

haiku: destiny

confidence to overconfidence to arrogance
it was a trap! realized years later
still ponder - who poisoned river of knowledge?

reverse age by a single day?

haiku: vigor

first dares then cares then shares

age shows various colors

by the time meaning learnt it just stares

water appeared at a distance always

kept running like a mad to quench thirst

life always tests vigor

haiku: bizarre

bewildering and frenzied words

tsunami in making

sleeping volcano waking up

haiku: mirror

so blunt to speak out the truth
i feel hurt and broken to see the reality
when you behave the same as me

your deep sea eyes and peaks of life
all getting soaked entirely
dead man's body floating on sea water

place where life kisses death

time when heart syncs with mind

night/dark always propels to morning/light
